Special weather statement issued for Kingston area

Environment Canada is warning that significant rainfall is in store for the Kingston area later this weekend. A special weather statement was issued just before noon on Nov. 4.

Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm are possible due to a low pressure system currently developing over the Western United States, which will move towards Southern Ontario during the weekend.
