Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that invites Canadians to reflect on and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom. Running from Feb. 1 to Feb. 28, the Banned Books Reading Challenge encourages participants to read books that have been challenged or banned. The challenge offers an opportunity for readers of all ages to explore these important works, earn badges and enter giveaways—all while supporting the right to read freely.
