Police in Kingston, Ont., say they've closed Montreal Street near Belle Park after multiple stabbings and an ongoing standoff Thursday.

Police say three people have been stabbed and a standoff continues.

Frontenac County paramedics told CBC all three victims were taken to hospital in critical condition.

Around 11:20 a.m., police said Montreal Street is closed between Hickson Avenue and Railway Street due to an incident.
