This year the Kingston Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Saturday, August 26th on the waterfront of Kingston's inner harbour. The festival is raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The first race starts at 9:00 a.m. and they will continue throughout the day to approximately 2:00 p.m. Registration for the teams begins at 8:30 a.m.

There will be on shore activities and entertainment including:

• kite flying
• traditional chinese lion dancers
• delicious food

Admission:

Free but donations for the Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated.
